Avaissance is Avalanche’s groundbreaking new initiative to incubate the next generation of digital artists. The expansive program’s goal is to foster a space for creators to explore new ideas, leverage the latest Web3 technology, build meaningful relationships, and launch game-changing careers.
As part of the Avaissance, we are launching the first Artist in Residence program (“AIR Program”). The AIR Program gives creators the opportunity to focus on a personal creative project by providing funding, a professional mentor, and dedicated support from the Avalanche ecosystem.

A distinguished National Geographic photographer & explorer, Aaron is a multidisciplinary master of storytelling, pushing boundaries through 30+ Nat Geo stories, including several cover features.
Huey's work also extends to pioneering pieces in VR & AR, creating immersive experiences like the award-winning Bear Ears Virtual Museum VR.
Aaron’s class will cover photography, but with an expanded definition that includes other cutting edge methods of image capture.
Founder and CEO of Silicon Beach based start-up Spatial Labs, Iddris is experienced in building technologies at the intersection of AR, NFC, and Fashion.
Sandu has previously worked with some of the largest brands including Beyonce, Rihanna, Travis Scott, Yeezy, and many more on the future of connected product experiences.
Iddris’s class will focus on blending the physical world with digital experiences, bringing the blockchain in the real world.
Pioneers in the computer assisted art space, Kojii.ai has assembled a team of seven instructors for the AI & Generative cohort.
Among the instructors are multidisciplinary artists, designers, programmers, a filmmaker, and a computer scientist.
This course aims to educate students about the latest trends in computer assisted art and provide instruction on using the tools to create it.
Founder of the successful Chikn NFT project on Avalanche, Sherbok Holmes will be teaching the business operations of running a large NFT project.
Sherbok is a tokenomics and game theory specialist with experience modeling and projecting ecosystem dynamics. He oversees Chikn’s daily operations across legal, accounting, and strategic planning.
Sherbok's students will come away with the knowledge of how to manage an active PFP project that’s built to last.
Rich, sometimes known as TapTapKaboom, is a multi-hyphenate artist who’s authored books, taught thousands of students online, and created multiple sold-out NFT collections.
His course will offer practical skills to onboard artists to the Avalanche NFT ecosystem and introduce them to the amazing community.
